Lessons learned for communication and stakeholder engagement

During the MERFISH secondment in the UK (in Europe for Business ) in the framework of the WP5 Communication, outreach and networking activities, Ms Tina Vrabec from the Institute Jozef Stefan, Slovenia had several meetings for learning activities related to the following themes:

  • general MERFISH communication and dissemination practices and also synergies with other project initiatives
  • training workshop dedicated to new skills for dissemination tools such as newsletter structure
  • production of new instruments such as podcast and audiovisual production, science cafes
  • training workshop for stakeholder engagement theory, mapping exercises and fishery products
  • preparation for spring time for the Slovenian science cafe

he feedback was positive and constructive and allowed both parties to exchange knowledge for the new technics for communication outreach and engagement strategies.
